Selfie on a sunny day! - Julie Keenan

I'm a university graduate with a BA in Linguistics and Psychology. Before my degree, I completed one year of Journalism and in that time, was given an opportunity to interview Canadian actor Dan Aykroyd.

I wrote for and edited my high school's newspaper and in Grade 12 received a "Best Newspaper" award for my (and my team's) efforts in improving and expanding the newspaper's quality and readership.

Of late, I have been writing articles for a Los Angeles PR & Branding firm, LaFamos, showcasing their many unbelievably talented artists! I recently discovered a book with 642 original writing prompts, which really expand my p.o.v. and imagination. I'm also working on a novel which I hope to have published in the near future.

Writing has always been a passion of mine--I've been fortunate enough to receive praise and encouragement for my writing throughout the past two decades. My innate editing skills have given me sharp eyes which bring to light the errors that even the most reputable institutions and publishers overlook. I hope to contribute interesting articles and look forward to reading the inspired and provocative pieces by the writers here.
